![]() ![]() While testing, I thought these were breezy enough to wear all day without breaking a sweat, despite my living in Florida, and the overall looseness in the sleeves and pants provide plenty of room for airflow. A fabric blend of cotton and spandex makes this set stretchy and soft, while its accented satin-trimmed sleeves and pant cuffs show off a sleek, sophisticated look. If you’re not a fan of flannel, let us turn your attention to the David Archy Cotton Heather Striped Sleepwear Set. ![]() Grab a set in sizes S to XXL and in four variations of plaid. If you’ve got a habit of holding your smartphone on you, make sure to keep it packed in your top’s chest pocket. The biggest bummer comes from a trait (unfortunately often) found in women’s clothing: No pant pockets. But the set, which I tested in a size large, still manages to give off a loose, casual vibe that’s great for sleeping, lounging at home, and lazy weekends. As the fabric is flannel, the pair faded the most out of any other set we tested and also slightly shrank after five warm-water washes. While the pants don’t have a drawstring, they have two buttons to cinch your elastic waist closed. The pants have a single snap-button fly that may reveal a little too much at times-a risk if you dash out to grab the mail. The top features three large buttons, and a small one located at the collar to close up on cold days. But don’t let that dissuade you from grabbing a pair for yourself-these PJs are super cozy, soft, and roomy and offer a great value for their price. EverDream’s sleepwear set sports an awesome fit, with fabric that is slightly thinner than Bean’s, as well as lower-quality construction. Bean set fairly well, but at half the price. Our Best Value pick mimics the flannel style of the L.L. The regular-sized PJs come in eight variations of plaid, while short and tall lengths come in four. Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel Pajamas are available in regular, tall, and short lengths in sizes S to XXXL. Still, despite my typical size being an XL, the size L set fit just fine after shrinkage, which only aided in the fit-if you get these, and especially if you’re between sizes, you may consider sizing down for a less baggy fit. While the construction and stitching are superb, the only potential downside to this set is all-too-common for its material: The cotton fabric shrank slightly after five warm wash cycles in our labs, and the plaid mix of purple, blue, and burgundy colors we tested also faded. The fit is where these PJs really shine-on my 5-foot-11-inch-frame, the sleeves of the size L hit just below my wrist, and the pant legs flow straight down with little stacking on my feet. It has a fly, pant pockets, a drawstring, and an elasticized waistband. They’re great for sleeping or all-day lounging (or both!) and they offer enough slack to either welcome in a breeze, or add an undershirt to layer up for additional warmth. With their traditional plaid style, fuzzy feel, and fantastic fit, these cozy garbs hit high marks across all major categories. ![]() ![]() Bean is the gold standard of classic cotton flannel PJs-soft, easygoing, well-constructed, and roomy without being sloppy.
